Canteen

The canteen is stocked and officially operational again after a long break during the pandemic. The nearest store is in Kacheliba, about 4 miles from the Cope Mission. There are very few people in the valley that own cars or motorcycles and fuel is very expensive. Our canteen helps families and individuals that don’t want to or can’t walk all the way to town to buy the basics. We sell items at cost and try to keep all of the necessities on hand. We even portion out our cooking oil so they don’t have to buy more than they need!
